Piaget
said that we learn best when we make a connection between what we already know
and the new material to be learned. The learning is the balance between our
previous ideas of the reality (schema) and the reality itself.
This is an aspect of learning I haven´t considered so much during my teaching experience and came out during my studies on cognitivism and constructivism.
We also discussed about how much teacher´s learning styles influences the audience. I
noticed I should also take care of my weakest
learning style and insert into my teaching.
I didn´t quite follow the curriculum presentation.
I hope to have time to have a look of that part
and be able to write something about it this week.
